A Judge, a Regulator, and Two Receivers: Eavesdrop on a Conversation about How to Best Administer
a Federal Equity Receivership

Federal equity receiverships can be complex and can involve thousands of victims and millions of dollars. The regulatory agency that appoints a receiver and the appointing Court may have slightly different perspective, and the Receiver must navigate through competing interests, agendas and demands of investors. The California Receivers Forum and the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers are co-presenting this special gathering of the key players in a federal equity receivership case to discuss how best to administer these complex cases.

Come listen to the Chief District Court Judge in the Central District of California and the Regional Trial Counsel for the Los Angeles Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission as they interact with two experienced receivers in a frank discussion about the realities of federal equity receiverships. The program is designed to be a discussion in which everyone’s input is welcome to help advance the dialogue.
